What are cookies and similar technologies?
Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser. Local storage and session storage keep similar small records in your browser. Scripts and embedded content from other providers can also receive information about your visit.
Our approach
The site works without optional cookies. Analytics and marketing tools load only after you allow them in our cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time with Cookie Settings, on this page and at the bottom of every page. When you withdraw consent, the site deletes the cookies of that category.

Marketing, only with your consent
If we turn on HubSpot, it connects your visits with an inquiry that you send us. It does not load before you allow marketing cookies.

Other services
Network and security. Cloudflare, Inc. delivers the site and protects it from attacks. Cloudflare receives each request to the site, including your IP address.
Protection of forms. Pages with a form use Cloudflare Turnstile to stop automated submissions. Turnstile runs from Cloudflare's own domain and checks information about your browser and device. Usually you see nothing. If Cloudflare cannot decide, it asks you to confirm that you are a person.
Videos in articles. Some articles contain a YouTube video. The player loads from youtube-nocookie.com, YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode, when you scroll to it. YouTube (Google) then receives your IP address and information about your browser. YouTube can store information in your browser when you play the video. See Google's privacy policy.
Fonts and images come from our own infrastructure. Links to LinkedIn and other social networks are plain links. They load nothing from those services until you click them.
For people who edit the site
Our team members who edit the site can open a preview of unpublished changes. The preview sets the cookies vq_preview (up to 8 hours) and vq_preview_on. Reviewers can also turn on a review mode, which local storage remembers (vq-review). Visitors do not get these items. Analytics and marketing tools stay off during a preview.
Managing your choices
Use Cookie Settings at any time to review or change your choice. You can also delete cookies and local storage in your browser settings. If you block cookies, the site continues to work.
Third parties and international processing
Google, HubSpot and Cloudflare process information under their own privacy policies and can process it outside your country. For details about international processing and your privacy rights, see our Privacy Policy.
Changes to this Policy
We update this policy when the tools on the site, their purposes or the consent mechanism change. The date at the top shows the published version.
