About the role
We're looking for a Technical Project / Delivery Manager to lead 2–3 client projects simultaneously, take ownership of end-to-end delivery, and ensure smooth collaboration between clients, engineers, and external partners.
You'll manage projects through discovery, planning, development, and release, with a strong focus on delivery quality, predictable timelines, transparent communication, and risk management.
This is a hands-on role for someone who understands technology, takes ownership of outcomes, and knows how to keep complex projects on track.
Format: full-time, Kyiv or remote within Ukraine. English B2+ (C1 preferred).
What you'll do
- Own project delivery: manage 2–3 client projects in parallel, from discovery and planning through development, UAT, and production releases.
- Lead discovery and planning: gather requirements, clarify stakeholder expectations, translate technical audit findings into prioritized backlogs, estimates, and release plans.
- Manage delivery processes: configure and maintain Jira workflows, track dependencies, and establish clear project processes.
- Coordinate stakeholders: act as the primary point of contact for clients, internal teams, external vendors, and partners.
- Control scope and budgets: manage T&M budgets, resource allocation, change requests, and delivery commitments.
- Manage risks and reporting: maintain risk registers, provide meaningful weekly status updates, and proactively escalate blockers.
- Ensure release readiness: coordinate UAT, define acceptance criteria, and manage pilot releases and client approvals.
- Support compliance and incident processes: monitor SLA commitments, coordinate incident escalation, and maintain documentation required for security and compliance audits.
What we're looking for
- 3+ years of experience as a Technical Project Manager or Delivery Manager in an outsourcing or product environment.
- Proven experience managing multiple client projects simultaneously.
- Experience taking over existing projects, legacy systems, or technically challenging deliveries.
- Strong technical understanding of web/SaaS architecture, APIs, OAuth, CI/CD, databases, environments, and security fundamentals.
- Advanced Jira skills, including workflow configuration, plus experience with Confluence and Google Workspace.
- Practical experience with T&M contracts, project estimation, budget control, and scope management.
- Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate technical risks, delivery status, and business impact clearly.
- English B2+ with confidence in client communication and meetings.
Nice to have
- Experience with AI/LLM-based products or integrations.
- Familiarity with ISO 27001, SOC 2, Cyber Essentials, or GDPR-related processes.
- Experience in e-commerce, fintech, healthcare, or other regulated industries.
- Participation in pre-sales, project estimation, or proposal preparation.
- Experience with Jira Service Management, incident management, or ITIL practices.
What success looks like
- Client projects have clear priorities, realistic plans, and predictable releases.
- Clients receive transparent updates on progress, risks, budgets, and decisions.
- Scope changes and delivery risks are identified and addressed early.
- Teams have clear ownership, priorities, and acceptance criteria.
- Delivery operates independently, with minimal day-to-day involvement required from the CTO.
What we offer
- Flexible working hours.
- Paid vacation and sick leave.
- Professional development and learning opportunities.
- Collaboration with international teams and clients.
