Position Overview
We’re looking for a Node.js Developer to join our team and contribute to the development and optimization of web applications for a leading provider of payment solutions and financial technology services. This is a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge fintech platforms and ensure their performance, scalability, and security.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Develop and maintain web applications using Node.js.
- Manage and optimize relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features.
- Maintain, optimize, and debug code to improve application performance.
- Use Linux command-line tools for server management, deployment, and automation tasks.
- Diagnose and resolve system issues using Linux command-line tools.
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in Object-Oriented Programming.
- 2+ years of experience with Node.js in commercial projects.
- Familiar with web standards and modern XHTML/HTML/HTML5/CSS.
- Proven experience in database design and writing optimized SQL queries.
- 2+ years of experience with Linux/Ubuntu.
- 1+ years of experience with AWS or other cloud platforms.
- Knowledge of SOAP, REST, or similar web services.
- Previous experience working in Agile teams.
- Strong ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- English: Upper Intermediate level or higher – able to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical team members.
Bonus Points For
- Experience with PostgreSQL database design and basic administration.
- Knowledge of unit testing practices.
- Experience using Git for source control.
