Join VARTEQ Digital Products team and help build an innovative eCommerce product that leverages machine learning technology and analyzes users’ behavior and purchases to predict products that are most likely to be bought.
As an VARTEQ Software Engineer, you will be responsible for the technology behind a best in class commerce product. You’ll have the opportunity to help design and develop cutting edge software and interact with customers to help them implement it on their site. You are an ideal candidate if you are passionate about web technologies, can turn difficult problems into creative solutions and enjoy working in a collaborative environment.
This job might be a good fit for you if you have
• At least 3+ years of experience with Java
• Experience in creating services using Spring, JPA, JAX-RS, Kafka
• Strong understanding of web technologies and concepts (JavaScript, HTML, CSS, HTTP, REST)
• Experience with both relational and big data storage technologies and techniques
• English: Upper-Intermediate or above
We’d also like to see (but don’t require) hands-on experience with:
• Multiple programming languages. We heavily use Java, Python, and Javascript
• Search engine technologies like Lucene, Elasticsearch, Solr
• Data science, data processing, and machine learning
• Development of systems for E-commerce and/or Digital marketing
